Green Spotted Puffer

The Green Spotted Puffer is a small, intelligent freshwater fish known for its distinctive bright green coloring and dark spots. These curious fish require a well-maintained aquarium with plenty of hiding spaces and moderate water flow. They thrive in brackish to freshwater conditions with temperatures between 72–82°F and a pH of 7.0–8.0. Feed a varied diet of small crustaceans, snails, and quality pellets to keep their continuously growing teeth worn down. Puffers are semi-aggressive and do best in species-specific or carefully selected community tanks. Regular water changes and good filtration are essential for their health and longevity.
