Large Gold Head Sleeper Goby

The Gold Head Sleeper Goby is a peaceful, bottom-dwelling fish prized for its striking golden head and calm demeanor. These hardy gobies thrive in established reef and fish-only aquariums with plenty of rockwork and sand for burrowing and hiding. Care Requirements: Maintain stable water conditions with temperatures between 72–78°F and a pH of 8.1–8.3. Provide a sandy substrate at least 2–3 inches deep to support their natural burrowing behavior. Feed a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and small crustaceans. They are generally reef-safe and compatible with most peaceful fish and invertebrates, though they may prey on very small shrimp. Ensure moderate water flow and adequate hiding spots among rocks and caves. These gobies are relatively inactive and do best in established systems with minimal aggression from tank mates.
