Medium Blue Tang

The Blue Tang is an active fish from Indo-Pacific reefs that needs plenty of space to swim and places to hide among live rock. It is peaceful with other species but can be aggressive toward its own kind, so add multiple Blue Tangs at the same time in a large tank. Their diet should include lots of marine seaweed and algae, along with some meaty foods. Feed dried seaweed using clips or tied to rocks at least three times a week to keep them healthy. They are reef-safe and require moderate care with water temperatures between 72–78°F and specific gravity of 1.020–1.025.
