Urchin Pincushion

The Pincushion Urchin is a striking addition to reef aquariums, displaying vibrant colors ranging from red and purple to white and blue. This oval-bodied urchin requires ample live rock for grazing and hiding spaces to thrive. It forages nocturnally on algae and may consume some sessile invertebrates. Maintain stable rock formations, excellent water quality, and avoid copper-based treatments. Supplement its diet with dried seaweed if algae is limited. Generally solitary but tolerates its own species.
