Ribbon Eel

The Black Ribbon Eel is a striking species featuring an elongated black body with a yellow dorsal fin in juveniles. It requires a 100+ gallon aquarium with 4–5 inches of sand for burrowing and a secure lid. Provide caves or buried PVC pipe for refuge. Feed live fish, crab, or shrimp; this eel prefers solitary feeding. 26–30 inches. Expert care recommended.
