Toby Pearl Puffer

The Toby Pearl Puffer (Canthigaster margaritata) is a small, carnivorous pufferfish reaching up to 5 inches. It features a brown body with light blue dots, blue eye spirals, and an elongated nose. Best kept in aquariums of 50 gallons or more with live rock for hiding, it’s not reef safe as it may nip at corals and small invertebrates. It needs a diet of meaty foods fed multiple times daily and strong filtration due to heavy feeding. Handle carefully during transport using a container to avoid stress.
